The history of Renaissance art began in what we know as present day Italy, which was known for its division for the many different political areas. The birthplace of the Renaissance Art is Florence, and was the specific period from the early 1500’s through the mid 1600’s.

Abstract art was extremely popular up until the middle of the 19th century, when the popularity was taken over by another type of art, modern art, though abstracts are still produced to some degree as of late. Abstract art tends to use visuals such as color, line, and form in order to produce an image that can be considered abstract.

There are art exhibits held somewhere every day, all over the world. There are many people that are art collectors, or simply just have a keen interest in art and like to study it and how it came about, or the different styles at least.

The many different types of Picasso art really helped change the way the world looked at art and artists in society, all over the world. There is not one school in this world that doesn’t teach a little about the world famous Pablo Picasso and his expertise in his famous paintings and what he tried to portray through his art.

Contemporary artwork is the newest style of artwork in art history today. The term contemporary simply means art that has been produced during our lives, and continues to be produced. This makes it contemporary to the people of this lifetime.

Before framed art came about, paintings and pictures would only be view of the surface that it was prepared on such as wood and canvas, but right before the Renaissance era, the first true picture frame was created. Frames had been around before then, but just never for pictures and many people didn’t really know how to take this new found feature.

Art schools are very popular all over the world. This is mainly due to the fact of some of the artists that made it so popular, such as Pablo Picasso, and all of the different cultures that there are to learn with art.

Ultimately, that is what art is all about and the thing that set famous artists apart from the other is the simple fact that they would work and incorporate improvising at their own rates.

Many people wonder how to know if art is original prior to purchasing a certain piece, and rightfully so, they should follow a few tips to make sure they really are getting what they paid for. Many sellers are selling reproductions of the original, and although the can represent art in a great way, the value is simply not the same and shouldn’t be considered the same either.
