However someone told me that even though a 35mm lens on a dslr is almost equivalent in zoom it will still cause distortion on the dslr. I also heard that this is untrue. Go to a bigger sensor, your D90 is an excellent camera use it until you figure out what option. The D700 is great and there is rumor if it getting replaced with something better.
