I need art ideas! I love to paint with acrylic and watercolor. I just need some inspiration!?
I really want to paint food, I saw this girls painting of waffles with strawberries on top, it looked so yummy, and it was gorgeous, it wasn't exactly real looking, but it was lovely. I need some ideas! I do enjoy painting pomegranates, but they aren't in season!
Or do you have a non food related idea? I'm totally open to it!
Three suggests would be: paint a different angle or approach (close up, partial, overlap, simplified, impressionistic, collage) on anything; a literal view of anything; an abstract perspective in anything. Anything could be man made or in nature or the creation of a feeling/concept/mood. Brainstorm a list of anything and everything: doors, chairs, windows, villages, hearts, circles, trees, flowers, birds, horses, butterflies, bees, ocean, rocks, mystery, enlightenment, secrecy, love, admiration, light, good/evil, happy, the list goes on. My final recommendation is to keep an art journal and you should have more ideas than you can paint! Good luck!!!
