what's the best USA city to be a jazz/blues musician?
i want to move where i can get more gigs. i am a jazz and blues sax player and have been playing pro for 10 years or so, but the cities i've lived in haven't had enough gigs for me to make all my living playing. is chicago a good place since it's known for jazz and blues? or are all the musicians starving there too?
New Orleans is the best place to get the feel of jazz/blues. Memphis is good for country and gospel.
