what would you like to buy at a handmade sale?
like my friend is having this sale and ask me to make some homemade stuff....
like would you buy jewelry or cards or scrapbook pages or keychains or frames or bookmerks?
which one? and do you have any good ideas of how to make the stuff?
Personally, I'd probably go for the bookmarks or scrapbook pages.
But in general, I think that jewelry and maybe scrapbook pages would be hot items. It all just depends on the quality--jewelry especially.
I wouldn't recommend keychains, just because they aren't really something a lot of people are interested in buying. And with frames, it all just depends on, again, the quality. If you're really good at painting, that could be a viable option for you!
As for how to make stuff...
I know Michael's Craft store has a wonderful selection of good, quality beads and things to make earrings, bracelets etc. Not everything is cheap, so you'll just have to consider how much you're willing to spend. My mom buys their stuff all the time, and it turns out pretty good!
For bookmarks, you could laminate stamped paper ones, or make cloth ones, or the metal ones that have the beads on the end--there's a lot of options!
