how can I make a 4.25 x 5.50 notecard template using microsoft word 97/2000 paper size 8.5 x 11?
I'm using staples matte coated notecards with 2 cards on each paper. I customize templates in microsoft word, tools - labels/mailings - envelopes and labels - and new label - . I typed in the correct dementions where they was suppose to go and saved the project. I'm using 8.5 x 11 paper. I printed a card and one card printed on the whole sheet of the paper! Instead of one 4.24 x5.50 printinig in the correct side of the whole sheet f paper. Yes I did custmize my printer too. I can't download templetes on my desktop because my laptop has microsoft 2000, and has a wireless connection. My desktop doesn't have internnet connections I use my desktop for transferring photo's, prinitng projects ETC. I'm running window xp and I have microsoft word 97/2000 to creat templates.

Cool, I just learned how to do it... I have word 200 and thought i'd try for you. Here's what I came up with.
Click tools
envelopes and labels
then click the labels tab
then click the picture of the label
Under Avery Standard
in product number,
scroll down until you (hopefully) see
3263 Postcard (it's 4.25 x 5.5)
I hope you have the same stuff, I loaded everything when I installed this
