Can someone give me an art-history on the painting "Portrait of Louis XVI" by Callet?

I need to know when/how/and why is was created and what the artwork represents about the original goals of the french revolution. IF YOU COULD GIVE ME A WEBSITE THAT CONTAINS AL THIS INFORMATION THAT WOULD BE AWESOME

This painting doesn't represent anything about the "goals of the French Revolution." Callet was an official royal portraitist. His job was to present Louis as an absolutist autocrat, in all the elegant artistic, aristocratic grandeur that his brush could summon, in the tradition of earlier, late Baroque artists who had painted Louis XIV. The Revolution was fighting against exactly that conception of monarchy and government.

See, for example, Rigaud's portrait of Louis XIV: the fashions have changed, but the concept has not.
