My iPod died; new battery or what?
My iPod -I think- died this afternoon. I was just sitting in my car and I shifted in my seat to see something, then noticed that Saul Williams wasn't blasting in my ears anymore. So I looked down and saw the screen had drained of color and the little script was fading from the screen, sort of like when you shake an etch-a-sketch.
I can't turn it on now, and I have no idea how to reboot it. It's a 30GB video iPod from about 1 and a half years ago.
Does it need a new battery or is it just being stubborn, and if I need to get a new battery...how much on average would it cost? Also, how can I get a hold of the people from Apple who handle iPod repairs if I lost my receipt from when I got it (hey, it was a present! I honestly didn't think it was going to die so quickly!)?
Is there anyway to resurrect it without shelling out like, a hundred bucks?
Help!
(Spring break is coming up soon and my road trip is going to be one long boring ride without my iPod!)
