Can anyone suggest a great love song?
My husband and I don't have a "song." And, I don't really know why, but lately I really kind of want us to have one. Since it obviously can't be the song we heard when we first danced or first kissed (since that has happened and neither have any clue which songs were playing), I'd like to find something that we both agree accurately portrays our feelings in a style that we like.
Our musical tastes are pretty versatile, we like about everything except rap/r&b/hip-hop. We also aren't big on country, we like bluegrass/folk/americana...but not so much country.
So, any suggestions at all would be appreciated.

My husband and I don't have "a song" either.
When it came time to pick a first dance song for our wedding, we had a bit of trouble. We finally decided on a virtually-unheard-of song called "You You You You You" by the 6ths (from the "Pieces of April" soundtrack).
When we first met, I was working at a store in San Francisco. Our store used to play the "Pieces of April" soundtrack as part of our music rotation, and whenever that song came on, I would always think of Brian. While I'm not sure it would be the song that best expresses my feelings for him now, it was special to me at the time we first started dating, so it seemed appropriate to use for our wedding. I wanted something that felt particular to us -- not one of the standard songs it seems like everyone has.

I really think you guys need to pick your own song if you want one. You said you want something that accurately portrays your feelings, and only you know what those feelings really are. Are there any love songs that, when they come on the radio, make you think especially of your husband? Or are there any songs you used to listen to a lot when you first started dating him? Or, as someone else has said, are there any songs from movies that were important to you?
