What is the difference in screen printing and offset printing?
I want to know the technology and process behind both and which one shiould be used for which jobs. e.g. what to use for printing text or graphics on pens, mugs etc.
You can't print 3d objects with offset, only sheets or rolls of material like paper. It depends on the the amount of items being printed as to what is used. For shorter run stuff they sometimes use a desk top machine that uses a pad, I'll see if I can find something. Screen printing doesn't really suit either.
"Pad printing" it is an offset process, not to be confused with printing pads offset.
