And if you're wanting to do this for free, getting a good page rank is essential.This is where Search Engine Optimization (SEO) comes in. Now , in the past people were so scared of the complexity of SEO it often took on the from of a mythical beast for many, so they simply ignored it ( which was good, because one often had to pay thousands of dollars in courses and training on just this subject to master it).

However it's important to at least know a little bit about SEO, and can actually be much more simply than previously believed. If you followed the other steps in my guide to free traffic series, you should have no problem getting visitors and reeling them in. Here are a few easy to implement tips you will need to know for building both a short-term and long -term SEO strategy:

-Choose a proper domain name !This is probably the most underrated technique people don't understand about SEO. Want to rank for a certain keyword? Get a name with that keyword in it ! It's really that simple. If you're wanting to target the keyword " best mountain bikes" get a domain name like "bestmountainbikes.com". Now you're probably thinking that domain is already taken-and I'm guessing it is- that's where keyword research comes in. Something less than 30,000 monthly searches is okay, around 10,000 is better if you want quick results.

To use this technique to get ranked quickly you will likely have to target an area that is more defined than "best mountain bikes." Something probably more niche. ( However, in this case who knows –I've never attempted to market mountain bikes so maybe it is a possibility.) The point is to ensure it is not too broad a keyword you are targeting, as the sites already in place will be difficult to beat initially simply because they have been around longer. Now you will still need some link juice to get yourself found, even once you have the right domain name in place. For more on that, just keep reading.

- Also: the domain you pick out needs to be .com, .net or .org domain. Don't waste your time with anything else.

-When looking for a domain you can of course use GoDaddy, but Namecheap is an excellent one as well, and there are less upsells along the way. Plus , you get WhoIs protection for free your first year. Not bad. The domain will cost you around ten bucks, but if you use it properly is well worth the investment.

For hosting- Blue-Host or Hostgator are the two best out there; the main thing you're looking for is a hosting service hat utilizes a CPanel interface. (It will say if it does.)

- Use properly named pages on your site by including keywords in the URL or page name but do not spam the URL with a bunch of keywords. A properly named page/URL (yoursite.com/selling-a-grill) should tell a visitor that by visiting this link they will get information about selling grills. The wrong way to name a page would be (yoursite.com/page1): what the heck is page one going to be about then ?

- Internal Linking between pages. This is the process of linking within your website to other pages of importance. Do this on every post you make on your blog or main site. It makes it easier for google to organize and thus, index.

The Origins Of The Greek And Egyptian Sphinx

Along the plateau of Giza, facing the rising sun, the Great Sphinx statue still sits. Visiting the site it is impossible to remain unmoved; the Sphinx is gigantic; 241 ft in length, 20 feet wide, and 66.34. It is one of the earliest AND most significant statues on the globe, but apart from these measurements, many of us fully understand almost nothing about it. No-one has learned for certain whose face the sculpture bears, exactly who had it constructed or even the key reason why. We can say for sure that the Great Sphinx may be so ancient the Pharaohs (including Rameses II) regarded it as an incredibly ancient and sent trades-people to restore it, as in their period the vast majority of the historic sculpture had vanished underneath the sands. Beyond that we know of no more writings to mention it's construction and we don't know its name. Why do we even call this 'The Sphinx'?

Greek mythology tells of the mythical beast which had the body of a lion as well as the head of a woman. This beast protected the city of Thebes, however this really is Greek Thebes, not the Egyptian city of the same name. According to legend this particular beast told every single passing traveller a riddle. â��Which beast in the morning goes on four legs, at mid-day on two, and at night upon three, and the more legs it has, the less strong it be?â�� Anybody unable to answer the riddle ended up being immediately strangled by the beast and swallowed. According to legend Oedipus escaped killing with this answer "Manâ��who crawls on all fours as a baby, then walks on two feet as an adult, and then walks with a cane in old age."  The monster then simply leaped from the cliff where she lived, to her death.  This particular monster the Greeks called a sphinx, from the Greek word which means 'to strangle' the result is that these kinds of ancient monuments of a mythologic beast with the physique of a lion, whether Greek statue or Egyptian statues are now labeled 'sphinx'.

Anyone who has looked at an Egyptian statue of a sphinx might be puzzled - this really does not seem like a sculpture of a monster. Could there be some sort of mistake?  There are lots of related Egyptian statues displaying lion bodied beasts with the heads of other creatures (frequently men or rams) like the great avenue of 900 sphinxes at Thebes in Egypt, however these sphinxes (we do not actually understand what the Ancient Egyptians called them.  The Egyptian sphinx statue was a protector, the lions physique symbolized the sun god;  and that is not the only difference.

A Greek sphinx statue shows a lion's body, a serpent's tale and the face of a female. The lion is sitting down, her front legs vertical, but her most the most impressive feature may be the set of two eagle's wings stretching out from her shoulder blades. Egyptian statues show a prone leonine body and commonly contain the head of a man or other creature. Most more importantly they've got no wings at all.

It seems odd that one word could come to represent two such different forms of an ancient statue, however the Great Sphinx again has even greater mysteries.

In 1950  R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz observed the evidence of what he presumed was water erosion inside the Sphinx Enclosure. In 1989 a further analysis by geologist, Robert  Schoch, revealed that this 'weathering'  had been brought on by rain, yet the typical yearly rainfall in the region since 2600 BC (when archaeologists think the sphinx was built) was only one inch. This has lead quite a few authors to state that the sphinx is in fact much older than initially thought and goes from pre-dynastic times, making this particular Egyptian statue over 5000 years old.  While many respectable archaeologists say this can't be true and present several other explanations for the water erosion effect, the belief that not one other construction on the Giza plateau reveals virtually any indication of this weathering leaves the inquiry unanswered.

Although it may perhaps lack the flamboyance of the winged Greek sphinx statue, the Great Sphinx is undoubtedly spectacular. We might not know its age or even why it was so very carefully carved from the rock within the Giza Plateau, but we have been fortunate enough to be able to enjoy this ancient statue and its mysteries, and anticipate the day when they can be completely unraveled.

Douglas Chandler Graham tried to get dozens of organizations to look at the arrest and trial of Earl Bramblett in the five years after his trial while on death row. All were overloaded with other cases they were working, which should give some indication of justice in America, or the lack thereof. High profile cases give the impression every fact is checked and all evidence is examined. In the dark courtrooms of America "justice" is whatever the court determines, the law be damned. A prime example of this is on the ten year old website allamosa.com.

There was no justice in that trial and it cost Bramblett his life.

The second Creation Event took place around 6 thousand years ago when God created the Garden of Eden, Adam and domesticated animals. Epling uses new discoveries in genetics and science as evidence to back his hypothesis that both scientific theory and religious belief about creation are correct.

Is Allen Epling's interpretation of Genesis the true version? As of now, we have no way of knowing for certain. His theories are as believable as anything presented by academia, science, or religion. I urge you to pick up a copy of this compelling argument, to keep an open mind, and to make your own decision.

I highly recommend Beyond Genesis to anyone open to alternative religious theories and to those who have allowed science to cloud their faith.

The Great Work At Home Scam

“I’ve gotten so lazy that all that I want to do is work at home. I don’t want to do any work at all but I still want to make money. I mean, I still have to pay the bills. I’m a fairly intelligent person. I should be able to find some way to stay at home and make money. What to do…

Let’s see. Well, I’ve noticed this thing called the internet. Didn't I read somewhere that the internet is an untapped market? Isn’t it the new frontier? Maybe I’ll start looking around.”

The above thoughts were mine a few years ago. I started looking around the internet for these work at home or telecommuting opportunities. One of the first things that I noticed is that these work at home opportunities seemed too good to be true. I was bombarded with such things as:

“$200 to $1000 per day. No experience necessary. Direct deposit to your bank.”

“Medical billing at home. Start your medical billing career. Free info.”

“Legitimate work at home opportunities. Start today. Accepting applications in your area.”

Now I’m a suspicious person by nature. I can pretty much see through the (well you know.) I clicked on a number of these links presented to me to read up on these wondrous opportunities. The websites that these links took me to were brilliant. Great big letters telling me I can be making big money just by using their system, software, service, and more. I was told about the Johnson family’s yacht and million dollar mansion. They got it just by working at home.

Yes there are some legitimate work at home jobs out there. You just need to be careful and not fall for the “Great Work at Home Scam.” As the owner of a free job board I have come across all kinds of scams like the ones noted above.

Here are some of the things to look for to identify these scams:

There is no such thing as “typing at home” or “data entry at home” jobs
About 95% of the jobs that claim to be home typist or home data entry jobs are scams. The so called “employer” reels you in by posts on free job boards or forums. The post typically will mention a one time materials fee or instruction manual fee. After you pay this fee (if the instructions do arrive) you are instructed to copy and paste the same message in forums and free job boards but request the money be sent to you instead. It is a perpetual scam because many people feel like they want their money back and the only way to get it back is to try the system. It’s not worth the time or the money. You’ll be spending the majority of your day trying to find forums or job boards that will let you post these scams and the rest of your day avoiding angry emails.

What is the email address for the employer?

Is it myemail @ gmail.com or myemail324 @ yahoo.com? These work at home scam artists don’t want give out their real email address so they use free email accounts given out by some of the major search engines. If they start getting nasty emails requesting their money back they simply get rid of one email address and get another one. An email address like myemail@mycompany.com where “mycompany” is a company that you may have heard of is probably a legitimate email.

Does the employer have a website?

Having a website doesn't give legitimacy to the employer. Having a website with a valid way to contact them, a frequently asked questions section, and a professional looking layout does help to boost confidence in their opportunity. Send an email to the email address listed on the contact page or via the contact form. Did you get a response in a timely manner? Did they answer your concerns? Does it sound fishy? If you have any apprehension at all you should steer clear.

Why does the employer need my money?

Doesn't this sound absurd? Well it really is. Employers should pay you money. This should trigger your spider sense from the beginning. Never give an employer money unless you are absolutely sure that it is for a legitimate cause. If you feel that it is for a valid reason, see if the employer will accept a check. When you write a check and mail it you have at least a couple of days to stop payment. If they don’t accept a check; why? A simple rule of thumb is you should be making money not paying money.

I really, really want to work at home. What can I do?

As I stated before there are some legitimate work at home opportunities. These are typically freelance positions where you are hired as a contractor and where you use your existing skills such as drafting, programming, graphics design, sign making, knitting, etc. These are tangible skills that you can use to market yourself to employers that do hire contractors or off site employees. Search out these types of employers and you won’t have to worry about getting caught up in the “great work at home scam.”

Mondern day depression?

Does anyone else feel like we are all financially headed for another Depression? The only difference I can see at this point is there hasn't been a huge run on the banks because they are supposed to be insured. But at this point does the insurance matter when the government itself doesn't have any money either. People are losing jobs by the minute and the states are running out of unemployment and welfare benefits.
Does anyone think that instead of using the money to bailout banks that were failing, they should have waited and used it to rebuild when the collapse is done? I don't see were this bailout is going to help anyone that truly needs it. Companies are still shutting doors. And the new president himself says it's going to get worse.

the only thing i could think of was for the government to ask for donations to help out. i mean obama got something like 400 million dollars in donations for his campaign, so why cant they have some sort of fund raiser to go towards to economy? if ONE man can get that much money just for the CHANCE to be president, i'm sure people would be willing to donate to the government if they thought it might help the economy

What Does it Take to Use Sign Language Symbols Effectively?

Sign language can be effectively used to communicate between two people who cannot understand each other's language. It is the main mode of communication between people who are deaf or hard of hearing and speech impaired.

Over a period of time, sign language has evolved into a comprehensive language i.e. a language unto itself with all the rules and grammar found in other languages. Sign language is also not universal. It is not the same in every country and every region. It varies from place to place depending on what language the people speak there.

It involves the use of hand gestures and symbols, facial expressions, mouthing, finger spelling, etc. The American Sign Language is both a visual and manual language. Thoughts and information are expressed with the use of hand movements, orientation of the palm, making hand shapes, arm and body movements, expressions of the face, etc.

Sign language symbols are an integral part of any sign language as this language is more visual in nature. Making signs with the hands and palm plays a major role in expressing ideas and feelings. Using symbols also makes it easy for people who do not know the sign language to understand the communication to a certain extent.

Sign language symbols are generally symbols depicting words or objects which are popular. This is mainly done with the help of hand shapes. There are a total of 150 hand shapes in American Sign Language. These symbols are similar to linguistic sounds. Some of these hand shapes include - using the fist with the thumb on the side to show letters A or the number 10, using the fist with the thumb on the front to refer to letter S, using fist with thumb between the middle and index finger to refer to letter T, flat hands with fingers positioned together for letter B, flat hands keeping fingers apart to convey the number 4, clawed or spread hands to convey 5 or E, cupped hand showing C, thumb touching the tips of the finger to show the letter O, etc.

Using the sign language symbols effectively involves some training in that particular language. Symbols also include other objects or phrases which are shown by hand shapes. For example using hand shapes to show a tree, a flower, a chair, etc.

Phrases like how are you, I love you, etc is conveyed using symbols as well as mouthing. There are variations in the symbols used in different languages. This depends on the alphabets pertaining to that particular language.

Parts of the body which are used for depicting symbols are the whole face, head, the neck, the upper arm, the trunk, upper arm, forearm, inside of the wrist, back of the wrist, etc. In the American Sign Language for example, tapping the upper face with a five hand mean "father", tapping of the lower face depicts the word "mother" and tapping of the torso or the chest signifies "fine".

Symbols and signs are thus a very important part of any sign language and one has to be fluent in the knowledge of these sign language symbols in order to communicate effectively.

Importance Of Safety Symbols

When we see those gigantic structures of buildings around us, those dams, or bridges that make our life like a cakewalk, we easily thank the infrastructure company, the engineers, the designers, and even government, but we surely forget to give credit to those workers who built our dream from sand to finished product.

And that's a bitter truth on which not many pay attention at all, let alone thinking of their safety. Be it smallest task of constructing a wall or hardest job of settling a bridge on a fast flowing river, the most vulnerable entity is a worker. No matter how sophisticated and advanced machineries are deployed in a factory, ultimately its worker who will be operating upon and stays on the risk. So it's quite natural that their safety be given due attention.

Besides expert guidance and vigilance, safety signs can also be pretty handy. As a worker confronts many situations while working in which he needs to take some decisions on own and in such scenario, readily available safety signs guide them to the right way. Also in case of any malfunctioning, they can realize the level of danger involved and take an evasive action.

A picture worth thousand words and its very true with safety signs at factories too. Not only signs can be seen and remembered easily but also are simple to understand. Workers at lower level mostly are illiterate, so a written DANGER does not make sense for them where a skull with two cross bones clears the intent.

Machines that employers buy for workers normally have all the operating symbols and even cautions printed. So that is not a problem but as these tools wear out, their symbols fade away as well, at that time; it could be risky for new workers in particular. So not just placing symbols at right place and right time is important but their maintenance is also equally necessary.

Gone are the days when symbols were painted using traditional paint-tin and brush. Today, they are readily available in stores as stickers. The only need is to buy them. So employers need to ensure that symbols and signs placed in their company are well readable and visible. It would be okay if walls of the factory fade out but those important symbols must be there in all colors.

Good symbols follow common color codes. For example, a red symbol would nearly be a warning and a green on would mean that it's okay to proceed. For example, on a computer CPU, a sign to not to open would be handy as this part of computer is its brain and manhandling here can lead to malfunction and even crash of the system.

And not only placing those symbols is important but educating users and workers about their correct meaning is necessary too. Though most of the symbols mean same thing universally, still clearing them to no doubt state is not a bad idea either.

So, the value of a symbol is much more than we understand and realize, and their optimum use is can be of lot of help.

The Ramprastha Group has come up with a residential project

The Ramprastha Group has come up with a residential project, The Edge Towers, in Sector 37 D, Gurgaon, on the Dwarka Express way, which is a part of the 450-acre Ramprastha City, an integrated township. The residential complex has 15 towers, each 21 floors, comprising 1,250 flats, which will be raised in the first phase.

These are four types of flats – 2BHK (1,240 sq. ft.), 3BHK (1,675 sq ft), 3BHK Large ( 1,990 sq ft),and  4BHK (2,400 sq ft). The basic selling price is Rs 2,600 (+external development charges[IDC] + preferential location charges[PLC]). There are two payment plans: one is the down payment plan, which comes with a discount, and the other in which the customer pays 15% of the base selling price at the time of booking and the rest on possession. The later is interest- and EMI-free during the construction period. All leading banks are offering home loans for purchase of a flat in the project.

Talking about the project, Ch Balwant Singh, founder and chairman of Ramprastha Group, says that the USPs of the project are its connectivity, infrastructure, and location. "The ‘signature style' of any Ramprastha project is its location. All our projects are located on highways, to facilitate for easy and rapped access. The Edge Towers is on the Dwarka Expressway and only a 15 minute drive from the IGI airport. A Metro station is adjacent to the town-ships, as is the Reliance SEZ. As it is part of our bigger integrated township project, the Ramprastha City, it will have the advantage of ready-to-use urban infrastructure and amenities like schools, hospital, a hotel, a shopping mall, a multiplex, a club(with restaurant, gymnasium, swimming pool, sauna and spa, basketball, squash, tennis, and badminton courts, etc), and a temple." Ch Balwant Singh also says that Edge Towers has top –notch fixtures and fittings for each flat like laminated wooden flooring in the master bedroom and vitrified tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. The walls would have acrylic emulsion, while the kitchen and toilet walls have a combination of ceramic tiles.

The prospectus says there would be modular state-of-the-art-kitchens with marble and granite counters. Interiors would be spacious with elegant decors and customers are promised a luxurious living. "You may call them luxury apartments," Singh adds. Among a host of other amenities and fixture, the catalogue lists single-lever CP fittings, chinaware, stainless steel sinks with drain board; wooden cupboards in master bedroom; the doors have veneered and polished hardwood frames and skin molded shutters while external glazing is of powdered-coated aluminum.

All the electrical fittings have modular-type switches and sockets, with copper wiring and 24x7 power backup. Water is also available round the clock. Perhaps, one of the most important features is the security apparatus with proximity card access system and CCTVs at vantage positions, along with boom barriers at entry and exit points of the complex and basement parking. Launched over a year ago, the project will be handed over to customers in August, 2012. Construction of the project is underway in full swing, with second floor already raised. The other projects in Ramprastha City are The Attrium and the View, each having 300 flats in the affordable category, with all of them sold out. Possession for these two projects is expected by 2011-end. Work on these projects is also underway. Ramprastha City also has a 100-acre SEZ and a commercial area of 50 acre.

Expanding on the core concern of the group. Balwant Singh says: "Over the past 50 years, we have delivered over two crore sq ft of built-up real estate and another 40 lakh sq ft real estate is under construction. Our focus is on quality infrastructure and greenery. We do not want our customers to occupy our flats and spend precious time and waste money in refitting their homes with fixtures. We give them the best in the market. Also, we are environmentally conscious and create greenery in each and every project that we raise. Also since the NCR region lies on a highly volatile seismic zone, all our constructions are built to be earthquake resistant."

The other projects of this group in Gurgaon include three more townships and a host of group housing projects, all under construction. Some significant projects under construction in Vaishali(Ghaziabad) are the Ramprastha Greens (11 acre), Pearl Court and Emareld Heights. Rounding off the vision of the group, Balwant Singh concludes: "Real Estate has become an industry – but at Ramprastha, we view it as a social service and keep the comfort and aspirations of our customers uppermost in our minds while designing a project. We do not sell properties, but a lifestyle, with all amenities packaged in the same complex. We also keep the middle class in focus, as most of our projects have something for them. In fact, The View and The Atrium are especially designed for them."

The report said Government had approved a budget of nearly Rs. 1620 cr. for the successful conduct of the Games through various ministries. The Commonwealth Games will also result in the up gradation of city infrastructure on an unprecedented scale, it said. It also said that 45.83 km was added to the Delhi Metro network. Of course, it will expand to 185 km during the Games, spanning the IGI Airport to Connaught Place, to the Games Village in Akhshardham to all venues. The new terminal at the Indira Gandhi International Airport will be fully operational soon, well in time for the Commonwealth Games. It has been designed to cater to 100 million passengers per annum by 2036, the report said.
